1. 先说第一句：find(found,found)是找到,发现的意思,强调结果.
而look for是寻找的意思,强调动作,以此不建议替换,look for 如果要替换,可以用seek for（sought,sought）,这两个是同义词；至于时态,we had found them,用的是过去完成时,表示过去的过去发生的动作,因此but引导的转折并列句也应该是过去时,应该为,but we couldn' find all of them. 注意情态动词后一定要接动词原形!完整的意思是：当时我们已经找了,但是并没有能够全部找到（find强调结果‘找到’）.
正确改法：we sought for them, but we couldn't find all of them.
2. 第二句.正确的句子可以改成:Tommy swallowed them/the (two) coins.
two coins 上文已经提过了,因此可以用them代替,或者省略量词two,加上定冠词the,特指哪两个小硬币.yet一般用于否定和疑问句中,陈述句不用!多余单词,因此删掉.此外,改成一般过去时语法没错,但是不如过去完成时好,因为Tommy吞硬币是在we both tried to get the coins之前已经完成的动作.
3.第三句.最好不要改动,因为强调从过去（this morning）到现在(yet)持续的动作,要用完成时态才行.楼主的句子,but i cann't the change 没有谓语动词!至少要改成but i can't have any change!'才可以算语法正确,但是意思是‘但我不能够看到硬币’而非‘但我现在还没看到硬币’.
