1.Mid-autumn Day,because of Mooncakes.April Fool‘s Day,all mischief is allawed.
2.No,they make people lazy.They all mean they don't have to work.
3.History about most holidays is likey to be very different from what seems today.Take Mid-autumn for example.In the first place,it was just mooncrazy people sacrifice for the moon.And now all the idea I have about that day is Mooncakes,they are really yummy.
4.The holiday is too long,and too much traffic,too many people all around,And more than 700 people died of road trafic this National Day vacation.
5.Ideal holiday should be funny,because those days are no longer holy,they must be funny.Or they would be forgotten.

1.My favourite Chinese holiday is the Spring Festival. Christmas is my favourite Western holiday.
2. Yes,I think so. National Day is to memorize the day when a country was founded.Mid-Autumn Festival is August 15th every year, which means the middle of the Autumn of the year. Christmas is December 25th, which honor the birthday of Jesus Christ. Spring Festival is New Year's Day in lunar calendar in China, when peope will get together to have a big meal to welcome the new year in. Thanksgiving Day is fourth Thursday in November, when almost every culture in the world holds celebrations of thanks for a plentiful harvest.
3. The history of Dragon Boat Festival iis a lunar holiday，occurring on the fifth day of the fifth lunar month to attempt to rescue the patriotic poet Chu Yuan. Chu Yuan drowned on the fifth day of the fifth lunar month in 277 B.C. Chinese citizens now throw bamboo leaves filled with cooked rice into the water. Therefore the fish could eat the rice rather than the hero poet. This later on turned into the custom of eating tzungtzu and rice dumplings.
4. I think the National Day celebration of this year wonderful, when peope all over the country held all kinds of activities to celebrate it and people can have long holiday to enjoy themselves.
5. My ideal holiday is like this: the people from all over the world get together to play, sing the same song hand in hand and taste different foods from other countries.
