1. 问：句①和句②中的else与other同为"别的"、"其他的"意思,用法有何区别?
答：作为形容词,二者都用作定语.else一般用来修饰不定代词（something, nothing, somebody, anyone等）或疑问代词（who, what等）, 且必须放在这些词之后.other用来修饰名词,位于名词之前.另外,else还可用作副词,放在疑问副词（when ,where）后.
2. 问：句③中的other前面为什么加了定冠词the?
答：the other表示某一范围内除去一部分后其余的部分,如one ... the other ...句型中,the other表示的是两者 中的另外一个.而other表示除去一部分后,别的或另外的,但不是剩余的部分.
