A Journey to Future in the SAIC-GM Pavilion
I will never forget the day my parents took me to the Shanghai World Expo.In the SAIC-GM Pavilion,I saw many exciting futuristic cars and experienced a marvelous journey to the year 2030.
There were lots of visitors when we got to the Expo Site.Since I’m crazy about cars,SAIC-GM Pavilion was our first choice among all the pavilions.
When we first entered the pavilion,a large cinema came into sight.Inside,we watched a film about transportation in the future.Can you imagine a world where the blind can drive with the help of auto-steering systems?Amazing!
A green leaf-shaped car in the movie aroused my interest.My mom told me it was named YeZ.And the EN-V concept cars were fantastic too,they could work perfect with the future transportation system in 2030.
After the movie we walked on in the pavilion.Guess what was there?The cars we just saw in the movie were standing right in front of us!Dad took a lot of pictures of me with the cute cars.He told me that with these future cars,we would see no more car accidents,traffic jams or car pollution.Even dogs could drive.What a wonderful life!
I also saw myself in 2030.Sound weird?In fact,it was a future experience activity hosted by Shanghai General Motors.We took pictures on site and saw them online when we went back home.SGM will mail those pictures to us in 2030 to compare.
In 2030 I would be a grown-up.What would I be like then?I believe I will have a bright future,just as the world will have better transportation systems.
I really enjoyed the journey to the future in the SAIC-GM Pavilion,and I hope that 2030 comes soon.
