我觉得句子应该是这样的,然后chance of influencing the system 过长,所以修饰chance的部分被移到了句末.
这里的of doing不是跟在have后面的，只是插入的一个定语从句
you have作定语从句修饰先行词chance
所以还原定从后就是：you have the chance of influencing
have the chance of doing sth.

其实这句话是这样的：The more support you get, the better chance（of influencing the system） you have.
它只是把of influencing the system放到后面，使句子看起来平衡一些而已，不是have of +动词ing结构，也没有这样的结构。但是有 be+of+名词=be+形容词。
