3句中的chatting与to chat从意思上来讲,是都可以用的,但是如果出现在一个题目的四个选项中,选chatting.在非谓语动词中doing表示的经常习惯做的事情,而
to do表示的是一次或者将来.
这个句子应该是一个巧合,并不是所有的这样结构都适用.动词不定式叫局部否定,跟整个句子的否定从语法上来讲是不同的.个例是有的.
举个例子
He didn't tell us to drink water.他没告诉我们喝水.（并不代表他不让我们喝水）
He told us not to drink water.他告诉我们不要喝水.（不让我们喝水）
不能变成 doesn't ask... 固定用法 ask sb not to do sth
